Issues in the Special Education classroom

Topics that I have published on my netvibes dashboard are intended to open the discussion on how to reach and support students with learning disabilities in the general education classroom.  As Special Education teacher I have supported students primarily with learning disabilities. The students I have worked with lived with ADHD/ADD, ODD, Asperger’s Syndrome, dyslexia (difficulty in reading), dysgraphia (difficulty in writing), dyscalculia (difficulty in math) and other mild developmental disorders. You will see many topics highlighted that relate to these specific disorders. Supporting students with learning disabilities is my passion and I want to open the discussion on how students are percieved to succeed in the classroom and in mastering learning goals.
